I’m not going to fan the flames any further so there will be no more talk on here about certain 5th dans being taken out by a plate of pasta. Nope, I’m not going to say anything. Besides, pasta is not to be taken lightly. Spaghetti, for example, is deadly when uncooked. You could lose an eye to a single stick. And then there’s tortellini. Fifty grams of that thrown at high speed could give you a black eye. So, no more jokes about pasta. Sorry, don’t mean to be a penne in the arse, I’m just on a bus and trying to pasta the time.

Oh and there was training last night! Small class, throws, dodging punches (trying to rather) and a few locks.

Lasagne.

    Very good Gary…

Yes I have a nice shining eye this morning …about bloody time you hit me …

OK I was in a serious training mood last night .. technique needs to be trained slowly and the speed built up to a workable level …throws will only be effective if you work at positioning yourself and the uke from any grab, punch , hold … we have to work on being more flexible in execution of the techniques from an unexpected positio. Wilma does not punch or position her feet as some people expect and then they dont adapt and the technique goes south… adapt, improvise and continue …

    Really enjoyed the class
