Thursday 2nd December

The few of us dedicated to the cause and tough enough to brave sub zero temperatures, blinding blizzards and treacherous ice (well, okay a bit of snow) were rewarded with another of Sensei John’s master classes tonight. The usual suspects were in attendance, with those of us with new belts showing off our new colours with pride.

Tonight we based our practise around wrist locks and defenses from grabs. We included some takedowns and throws, chokes, some controlling arm locks and variations on ground techniques… all coming back to the same principals. Once again, the time flew by and although we covered only a few techniques, we did so in great depth.

A very good time was had by all again… don’t let the bad weather put you off training… Its always good to practise your breakfalls when its slippery outside, they might just come in handy…

See you all Monday.
